Caregiver Job Description
At Golden Moments Care Home, we are a close knit team of caregivers who rely on each other to ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care. We only hire committed professional caregivers who love working with the elderly during all hours of the day and night. All applicants must meet the minimum requirements for consideration. 1 year of paid care giving or healthcare experience preferred- BUT, we will train excellent people with good character and a strong work ethic. Be able to pass not only the DOJ/FBI background checks but also health screening and TB test. CPR. First aid certification is a plus. Be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays. And to have flexible schedules for work.
Assist up to 6 elderly residents in small care home serving Alzheimer's/ Dementia, in teams of two, near Arden/Fulton area in Sacramento. Toileting, incontinent care, cooking, housekeeping, walking, massaging, play games, hands on assist with arts/crafts, fitness circle, ect. Looking for aides interested in providing a happy, upbeat, helpful attitude in a team environment. Extensive documentation required. Must have strong back and in good physical shape, you will be on your feet a lot. Bonus program, dental insurance and Vision insurance available also. We have a lot of fun with our residents, they are sure to make you laugh and smile on a daily basis.
