Caregiver Job Description
KSC Care is a Phoenix, Arizona-based assisted living operator seeking to grow their team of certified caregivers. Ideal candidates will be dependable, organized and have a positive attitude and friendly demeanor. Responsibilities include: -Managing resident medication (MAR) Medical Administration Record -Following resident service plans -Administering medications to residents -Keeping proper ADL (Assisted Daily Living) records and reporting changes to nursing team and manager -Performing light housekeeping duties (e.g., keeping room clean, laundry, dish washing) -Providing bathing and dressing assistance -Preparing meals and assist in feeding residents when needed -Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills -Serving as a companion to residents -Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities -Communicate with families, co-workers, nurses, and managers regarding care -Assisting with transfer and mobility or use of transfer equipment -Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment Requirements: -AZ Caregiver Certificate -Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card -CPR & First Aid Certification -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds -TBI experience preferred but not required -Basic computer skills -Effective communicator Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Night shift Weekends only Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
