Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description
St. Genevive Health Care Services is seeking a dependable DSW in Alexandria, La or surrounding areas looking for a full-time/part-time job!!! Multiple shifts available.
**Must be dependable. Experience with disabled adults, children, and elderly preferred**
Shift days & times vary depending on available shifts. (i.e. early mornings, noon, evening, overnight, week days, weekends, etc.)
St. Genevive HCS work tasks:
1. Provide direct care services to the recipient according to their Plan of Care.
2. Provide direct care services to the recipient at the time and place assigned in the ISP
3. Report and communicate changes in a recipient’s condition to the supervisor immediately upon discovery of the change
4. Follow emergency medical training while attending to the recipient
5. Subsequently report any medical or other types of emergencies to the supervisor, the provider, or others pursuant to the provider policies and procedures
6. Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation of recipients to a supervisor on the date of discovery and as required by law
7. Be trained on daily documentation such as progress notes and progress reports
8. Be responsible for daily documentation of services provided and status of recipients to be reported on progress notes and/or progress reports
Requirements:
· High School Diploma/GED (or 1+ years experience)
· social security card
· current driver's license
· current auto insurance
· pass background check
· must have smart phone with data (for clocking in/out)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $7.50 - $8.00 per hour
