We are seeking a Home Health Aide to become a part of our NYC Pro Home Care team! You will provide routine healthcare to patients at the patient's home or in a care facility. We are located in Brooklyn, NY we invite you to become a part of our team and join our mission of providing the best home care. NYC Pro Home Care provides a variety of non-medical services to seniors in the comfort of their own home as well as assist the patient with activities of daily living. Languages other than English not necessary include : Spanish, Russian, Bengali, and Mandarin may helpful Qualifications • Valid photo ID • HHA Certification • Able to complete drug and background screening • Is ethical, honest, dependable and open-minded Responsibilities: • Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities • Monitor and report changes in patient health status • Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients • Provide specialized healthcare such as administering medication and changing bandages • Teach family members ways to care for patient Personal hygiene assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair) • Ambulation/Transfers • Eating • Dressing/Grooming • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions of potential special diets • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments • Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom Qualifications: • Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields (preferred) • Positive and patient demeanor • Ability to build rapport with patients • Ability to handle physical workload • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits: • We have a variety of shifts available • Competitive pay • Professional Work Environment • 401K (some restrictions may apply) Find out more about this fulfilling career opportunity at https://nycprohomecare.wixsite.com/2022 We are not only looking for employees in only Brooklyn but also other boroughs Wage Range : Starting at $15/hour with metrocard
