Certified Nursing Assistant

Care & Rehab is searching for Part or Full-time Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team! This position is located at our Cumberland, Wisconsin location. *$3,000 Sign-on Bonus to ALL Full-Time CNAs* **New competitive wage scale** The primary purpose of this position is to provide residents with routine nursing care according to our established nursing care procedures and as may be directed. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you have the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out the assigned duties. Responsibilities: - Must be able to spend long periods on feet. - Must be fluent in English - Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. - Must be able to hear and see or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately, to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met. - Must function independently and have personal integrity, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies. - Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability. - Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and at times, hostile people within the facility. - Must be able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 50 pounds. - Must be able to assist with the evacuation of residents. Requirements: - Full-Time or Part-Time available - Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant within 4 months from date of hire. - Must be a minimum of 16 years old. - Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition. - Must be able to follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism. - Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and a willingness to handle difficult residents. - Must be willing to seek out new methods and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practice. - Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, families, and the general public.
