Giving care and comfort to residents in a personal care home environment by attending to their personal needs, ensuring their safety, mobility, and general well being, perform light house keeping, preparation of meals, administering medication, engaging residents in group activity, performing and monitoring vital signs, and performing activities of daily living for residents. As a personal care assistant, each individual is required to communicate with families, medical personnel, staff, as well as continue daily operations to ensure the well being of the personal care home. The personal care assistant is required to attend on going training to enhance skill level to assist residents quality of life.
