EXPERIENCED CAREGIVER WANTED

Job Title: Caregiver Job Location: POTTSTOWN,PA Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Live-In Reports to: Supervisor/Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalized care and assistance to individuals in need, such as the elderly, disabled, or those with chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to help others, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle various caregiving tasks with patience and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Administer medication and monitor health conditions, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing. Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of wheelchairs and other mobility aids. Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant changes in the client's condition. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals. Adhere to all safety and health regulations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred. Certification in CPR/First Aid (optional, based on employer requirements). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Reliable and punctual. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable). Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and assist clients in a safe manner. Capability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation. Stamina to handle long periods of standing, walking, and other physical activities. Working Conditions: Work is typically performed in the client’s home or a care facility.
