PRN CNA needed for M-F AMs. No nights, weekends or holidays.

Luxe Hospice is seeking a certified nurses aide (CNA) with an active license to provide 1:1 care with our patients. CNAs say they love hospice because they are not rushed in their work and have time to give the type of care they've always wanted to do and develop meaningful relationships with their patients and families. You will provide personal care, including bathing/showering, incontinence, dressing and assistance with meals, if time allows, to patients who live in their own homes or an assisted living or skilled nursing community. You'll be part of a team of nurses, social workers and chaplains who work together to promote comfort care of patients facing a terminal illness. You should be comfortable working with patients who are chronically ill and in need of full assistance with care. Some patients have memory issues, so your patience and a calm disposition is absolutely a must. You will be required to document your visits within 24 hours in our electronic medical record which can be done on a cell phone, laptop or tablet. Training will be provided for charting and the requirements of the job. This is a PRN job, which will build as our census builds in this area. We will ask you to see each patient 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, likely in early AM hours. Pay is based on a per-visit basis and ranges from $35-50, based on experience. We require a CNA license in good standing, access to a reliable vehicle which is insured.
