Job description: • Ambulation assistance • Bathing/showering • Continence care/toileting • Personal hygiene/dressing assistance • Transfers • Provide companionship (emotional and motivational support through conversation, encouragement, and recreational activities) • Household chores/light housekeeping (which include, but are not limited to) – changing linens and laundering client items only, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishes, garbage, cleaning (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen) • Transportation services (e.g. running errands, grocery shopping, personal shopping, doctor appointments, social outings) • Meal preparation and/or assistance with feeding Benefits: • Weekly paychecks • Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement (between clients) • Free continuing education units • Flexible scheduling • Referral incentive program • Right Care Benefits program • Very competitive pay • Sick Leave Requirements: • Licensed/certified (per WA state standards) • CPR/first aid card preferred • Food Worker Card (also called a Food Handler Permit a plus) • Clean/negative 2 Step TB Test • Driver’s license with reliable vehicle and proof of insurance • Must pass background check & initial drug screen • Successful motor vehicle registry screening (if wanting to provide Transportation services) • Effective communication and interaction skills • Completion of written Competency Evaluation • Must complete 12 hours of in-services annually • Must be able to understand (speak, read and write) the English language • Must be 18 years of age or older • High School Graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred • Previous experience as a caregiver preferred (Nurse Delegation a plus) • Experience with Alzheimer’/Dementia beneficial • Own smart phone and access to a computer is beneficial APPLY NOW
