Role: We are seeking a dedicated RN - Registered Nurse to join our team! The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the Community, as well as effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals. Various Shifts: Days: 6am - 2pm or 6am - 6pm Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm Nights: 10pm-6am or 6pm-10am Responsibilities: The RN ensures provision of quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on acuity of residents. The RN makes daily rounds to each resident to ascertain the residents condition and comfort. The RN follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety. The RN follows infection control guidelines. The RN initiates procedures to protect residents from injury and infection. The RN assesses and evaluate resident change of condition and institute appropriate interventions. The RN communicates with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow through. Qualifications: The RN must be a graduate from an accredited school, be currently licensed in state of which applying without encumbrance, and is responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEU requirements. Preferably 1-2 years of previous nursing experience in Long Term Care and/or a Skilled Nursing Facility, but not required. Must possess a current CPR certification.
