Home Health Aide (HHA) Job Description
Be more than just a direct care worker with us! The people we serve enjoy companionship, being in the community, learning to cook new recipes, playing video games etc. We as direct care workers provide non-medical care to developmentally disabled adults and children in their own private residence. The services we provide for the most part is in accordance with the Individual’s Plan of Services or Adult Home Help tasks which can differ for each person being served depending on the required needs. These needs could include but not limited to personal care, transportation, lifting, teaching, guiding and supporting individuals in meeting their own personal needs, dreams and desires. Shifts can vary from 8-16hr shifts depending on the need of the person. In some instances, care is needed for more than one person in the home. We are offering outside of the basic trainings and the best support needed!!!! Must possess understanding and patience, schedule must be flexible, work well with others, high school diploma and have minimum training requirements i.e. CPR, First Aide, Recipient Rights, but will train. Must comply with the requirements of a background check. Driver License and current insurance on vehicle used to provide transportation services are also required Let's meet some goals together and become a life changer to the individuals we serve, their staff and family members or guardians REQUIREMENTS: Behavioral health: 2 years (Preferred) Supervising: 3 years (Preferred) Direct Care Worker: 2 years (Preferred)
