Nurse Manager
Evergreen Place is looking for a Full-Time Nurse Manager (LPN/RN)to direct licensed staff in a Supported Residential Health Care Assisted Living community licensed for 52 residents on a 24-hour, 7 day per week basis.
The position requires nursing experience, a sense of humor and the ability to work with a diverse group of people and backgrounds to balance the needs of residents with staff; can handle stress or emergency situations.
Primary responsibilities:
1. Ensure the delivery of quality nursing care and support to Evergreen Place residents in accordance with Federal, State and Local standards and regulations.
2. Reports, reports, reports.
3. Schedule and recruitment of staff; direct and delegate staff to provide excellent nursing care.
4. Implement Evergreen Place policies and procedures.
5. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Medical Director, coworkers, residents, families, medical providers, vendors and community groups.
6. Provide clinical oversight when working with Administrator to assess clients for admission to and exit from Evergreen Place
Requirements:
1. Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing; valid nursing certification.
2. Two (2) years of experience in a management role, preferably in a long-term care community. Knowledge of NH He-P 805 regulations a plus.
3. Excellent organization and management skills and performance management experience required.
4. Takes time to interact with staff/residents during activities; i.e., serves food at BBQs.
5. Standard Office Software.
