If this sounds like you, please apply! **We are following all CDC guidelines and providing PPE to our employees to ensure everyone's safety.** Benefits & Perks Weekly Pay Referral programs Employee recognition Flexible scheduling Mileage reimbursement available Education and additional training Responsibilities Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating Provide reminders to clients about taking medication Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals Aid with home exercise programs Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so Perform light housekeeping duties Report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary Qualifications: MUST HAVE CURRENT CNA LICENSE IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA COVID vaccination preferred Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day Reliable form of communication (cell phone, tablet, etc.) Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 2+ years) Willingness to enforce health and safety standards Supportive and compassionate High School Diploma, must have completed CNA Program Take pride in providing high quality care Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client) Can speak French (specific to client) Can speak Spanish(specific to client) Ok with Clients who smoke (specific to client Ok with Clients who have pets (specific to client) Our goal at Amada is to attract exceptional caregivers that are up to the challenge of meeting our high standards of care .
