Job Description The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing compassionate, direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities 1.Provides direct patient care as defined in State Nurse Practice Act. 2.Provides accurate and timely documentation. 3.Performs other duties as assigned by the registered nurse. Qualifications 1.Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program. 2.Has three years nursing experience, and effective January 1, 1988 shall have one year prior professional nursing experience in a community/home health/hospice or medical/surgical setting. 3.California LVN license. 4.Current CPR certification. 4.Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state. **Interview available on weekends if unable to meet during the week.
