Our CNAs are responsible for a number of important tasks such as: • Assisting residents to feel and look their best by helping them with getting dressed, bathing, as well as grooming. • Ensuring that they receive needed care/service by proactively communicating with other members of the interdisciplinary team about resident needs. • Helping our residents feel comfortable in their space by giving attention to cleanliness and furniture arrangement. • Supporting residents in pursuing their interests by helping them engage in our life enrichment program. • Sharing your knowledge and expertise with other team members to better serve the residents. Qualifications • Current, active CNA Certificate or graduation from a CNA Certification program. • Current First Aid certification • Prior skilled nursing experience, minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA • Ability to speak English clearly and to write legibly, to understand and carry out directions and instructions in written/verbal form Physical Requirements • Daily duties include lifting, squatting, bending, reaching, prolonged standing, walking • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds • Ability to stand and/or walk up to 90% of the time The Redwoods is an EOE employer
