Home Care Aide (HCA) Job Description
Our pay rates have increased! We will train. We are looking for kind, respectful and dependable in-home aides to provide assistance to our clients in Cherokee County, NC. Being an in-home aide is a flexible job with improved payrates. Typically, no weekends or nights. You need to be trustworthy and want to help others.
Services to expect to provide: Personal care, safety (assist with ambulation and recognizing a hazard), toileting, meal prep, errands, light housekeeping, communication (talking to the client as many are lonely or have memory issues), remind the client to take their medications, reporting concerns to the RN, following a POC (Plan of Care) and more. Our biggest goal is to keep people safe, clean, fed well and companionship. We teach you how we provide care and how to use our App (EVV). You need a recent TB, CPR, Driver's License and to complete our application. We walk you through everything, so you are comfortable and confident at providing care & assistance to our clients. Experience is preferred.
