The Northfield Retirement Community (NRC) is currently looking for a compassionate, responsible, Full-time Registered Nurse to work in our Assisted Living area of our campus. NRC is a Christian not-for-profit organization where our residents are encouraged to continue their active lifestyles with the support of their caregivers. NRC employs team members devoted to compassionate care for the aging, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere while maintaining a safe and supportive Christian environment. This position reports to the Director of Health Services.
Hours: 40 per week / 9:00AM - 5:30PM / M-F On-call Rotation Including Some Weekends
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide meaningful, personalized, person-centered cares for our residents
Medication management and treatments
Coordination of resident cares and services with the Nursing team
Able to work independently and lead a team with a positive attitude
Able to multitask, critically think and manage stress of the changing healthcare field
Qualifications and Skills
Must have a current MN-RN License & current CPR Certification
Memory Care experience preferred
Outgoing, friendly personality. Able to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents
Must possess good listening, verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate leadership, good judgment and dependability
Retention Bonus
To remain eligible for the bonus, you must have good attendance and good work relationships with residents, family members and staff.
If you are hired and commit to working 40 hours per week, you will be eligible for the total bonus of $10,000: paid $5,000 after the first 6 months and $5,000 after 12 months of employment.
