Home Health Aide (HHA) Job Description
A CHHA or Hospice Aide who works under the supervision of the a Registered Nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort.
Must have an Active CHHA certification with at least 1 year experience in any health care settings. Experience in hospice, home health or nursing home settings is highly desirable. Must have verifiable experience performing direct patient care
Must be able to demonstrate competency in performing direct patient care
Must have a good understanding of hospice philosophy of care
Must have a dependable transportation
Flexible to accommodate shift care as needed
Must be able to use computer for basic charting
Compensation
$18 - $25/ hour
