Currently Alta has 8 and 12 hour shifts available with set schedules. Alta is almost completely electronic in all systems Position Summary: Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in a nursing home environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Other duties as assigned. Check us out Duties and Responsibilities: * Completes all assigned tasks in a timely manner. Always displays a positive attitude. Treats residents, visitors and fellow employees with courtesy, respect and dignity. Adheres to established dress code. Meets acceptable Company attendance requirements. Follows established safety and infection control precautions, policies and procedures. Attends and participates in in-service training programs as mandated by regulatory agencies/Company policy. Accepts work assignments from supervisor willingly and takes ownership of job responsibilities. Follows Company meal and break policy. Uses supplies without wasting. Assesses plans and evaluates resident care delivery and coordinates such with care plan. Participates in interdisciplinary discharge planning process. Conducts candidate interviews. Completes subordinate performance evaluations timely. Counsels/disciplines personnel as necessary. Administers residents’ medications per regulations. Provides residents’ treatment/wound care per protocol. Completes all facility documentation accurately and timely. Completes head to toe clinical assessment of all residents. Participates in the early identification of clinical issues in order to minimize avoidable transfers to the hospital. Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as required.
