Medication Technician/GPN-Evening Shift

GrandeVille Assisted Living is seeking a part-time Medication Technician or GPN. This position is for EVENING SHIFT (3pm-11pm). There is a every other weekend requirement and candidate must be willing to be mandated if necessary. GrandeVille is a family owned, stand alone Assisted Living facility who has been serving this community since 1974. GrandeVille services include; Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, Memory Care as well as a Social Model Adult Day Care program. Requirements: At least 1 year experience working in an assisted living facility, assisting residents with daily living activities OR graduation from an accredited practical nursing program. Med Tech/GPN has the following responsibilities: Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) in all areas including Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, Memory Care and Adult Day Care. Passing Resident Medication at designated times. BG and insulin management Responsible for documenting resident services as performed. Performs other duties including; trash removal, laundry, bed making, etc. Attends mandatory monthly in-services and additional training. Assists the Resident Care Director, LPN Supervisor and/or Shift Supervisor, in organizing and implementing resident care services, in accordance with the NYSDOH guidelines. Participates in shift report upon reporting for duty and upon leaving. Assists with transporting residents to meals (and in the Memory Care serving residents the meal).
