Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
We are currently looking for Certified Nursing Assistants to join our dynamic and energetic team. Our goal is that with our highly trained staff, we may create a warm, comfortable environment where our patients can achieve their highest potential and return home. The Certified Nurse Assistant under the direction of the Director of Staff Development and Charge Nurse provides nursing and nursing related services to residents consistent with each resident’s comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. Acknowledges that HIPAA is a law that must be followed by all healthcare personnel at every level. This position is a Mandated Reporter regarding the suspicion of elder abuse and may have access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Certified Nurses Assistant Role and Responsibilities: Administer care to assigned residents as directed by your supervisor Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behavior Assist residents with ADLs as needed Review care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care routine have been made Take vital signs in a timely manner Maintain accurate resident medical records Provide emotional support to residents and their family members Qualifications and Skills: Current CNA license Current CPR certification Provide current health requirements Familiarity with medical software and equipment The ability to build rapport with residents Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Tactful and courteous approach with residents and visitors Excellent customer service skills Must be punctual and dependable
