Your voice will be heard. You will: • Perform personal care such as baths, showers, oral hygiene, skin care and hair care on assigned residents • Exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills • Monitor and report accurate intake/output of fluids nourishments on assigned residents • Assist in serving, feeding and monitoring meals. Closely supervise residents with swallowing problems • Use safety measures while transferring, repositioning and transferring techniques • Answer call lights in a timely manner to ensure safety and proper service to residents • Assist with restorative programs and rehabilitation • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment • Identify hazards and unsafe conditions for residents and report’s findings to the appropriate person • Complete required documentation of resident care utilizing electronic medical record • Observe and immediately report unusual symptoms, changes in condition and injuries to the charge nurse including incidents that may result in injury • Respect resident’s rights and privacy • Participate in resident care planning. Communicate with other departments information to help meet the needs of the resident • Establish positive rapport with resident and residents’ families • Comply with State, Federal, Local, and JACHO standards You will be supported in your work by a team that values one another and ensures your voice is heard Qualifications and Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of training and competency program approved by the State of Tennessee Holds a current Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate from the State of Tennessee Preferred 1 or more years’ experience as a CNA
