General Purposes: To provide non-professional direct resident care duties under the supervisor of a licensed nursing personal, and to assist in maintaining a positive and physical and psychosocial environment for the residents. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assists residents with daily activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed lines, and positioning in and out of bed, chair, etc. Assists with recreation programs. Prepares residents for meals and snacks, assists residents in eating where needed and records food intake. Reads and follow daily care plans; perform assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures; reports changes in residents condition to nurse in changes; documents care provision on the residents record/flowsheets as required and reports accidents and incidental and provides nursing function as directed by supervisor.
