We are hiring Nursing Assistants to work Full & Part time ALL SHIFTS. 12-hour shifts are available. Pay is based on experience! No STNA required. We are looking for motivated candidates with enthusiasm for creating the best experience for our residents and their needs. Must be available to work weekends and holidays, have excellent customer service skills, excellent attendance history AND... Must be a TEAM player with a positive attitude. Must be able to pass a drug test, physical and background check. SUMMARY: Will provide assistance to residents under the instruction and supervision of a nurse. Will help residents feel as comfortable and content as possible and maintain their individuality and dignity. Maintain Rights of Residents as set forth by the Ohio Department of Health Laws and Regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned with or without reasonable accommodations. • Maintains a clean, neat professional appearance following nursing assistants’ dress code. • Shows a loving, caring attitude with residents, families, and other staff members always. • Communicates clearly and appropriately in a soft tone showing patience and respect. • Shows sincere willingness to help residents and families in any way possible. • Receives report from previous shift nursing assistant prior to each shift worked. • Follows nurses’ assignments and instructions and assumes responsibility for assigned residents’ care. • Assists residents with bathing, grooming, and personal needs. • Assists residents with bowel and bladder needs and with incontinence protection products. • Assists residents in dressing or undressing. • Assists residents in ambulating or transferring from bed, chair, wheelchair, or commode safely. • Assists residents to and from dining room during mealtimes. • Assists residents to planned activities in which they wish to participate. • Provides privacy for residents by always knocking prior to entering room. • Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and quiet environment throughout the facility. • Attends scheduled staff meetings and in-services and/or receives required training as state regulations outline. • Ability to be flexible with scheduling during the holidays and be able to work every other holiday. • Understands fire and disaster plans and reacts appropriately if an emergency arises. • Make beds. • Knowledgeable of and implements all safety, universal precautions, and Company policies/procedures for the protection of residents, coworkers, and self.
