Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description
The LPN, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides direct resident care as delegated, and assists the RN in the delivery of resident care utilizing the nursing process as appropriate to the geriatric resident. Participates in resident care services as directed by supervisor in accordance with in-service training, effectively documents all interventions/care provided in the medical record.
Graduation from an accredited LPN Program
some experience working in a direct patient care area - preferably in a long term care setting.
