Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Functions as independent professional to provide skilled nursing care to home bound clients in accordance with written medical orders and plans of care.
Applicant must have experience in wound care, IV's, medication administration. Must have at least 1 year home health experience. Must be able to work independently. Must have dependable vehicle and access to a back up vehicle. Must be willing to take call at least once a month (one week at a time). Must hold a current CPR certification.
MINIMUM SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL REQUISITES
1. Graduate of accredited school of nursing; Registered Nurse with current license in the State of Georgia.
2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience as Registered Nurse in hospital, hospice, or home health preferred.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of home health issues.
4. Ability to work under pressure with compassion and caring attitude.
