Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description
We are seeking a few nurses full time, part time or per diem, who want to get back to what nursing is all about - connecting with their patients/residents! Owned by the Sisters of Charity, Halifax, our 76 bed, DPH licensed Level IV Rest home is home to Sisters who have always taken care of others. Its now our turn to take care of them! Duties include: To implement and evaluate coordinated care for assigned Residents. Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required. Chart all reports of accident/incidents involving residents. Follow established procedures. Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician. Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for your shift. Review residents’ charts for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc., as necessary. Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards. Ensure that individual Resident’s needs are assessed and met appropriately and in a timely manner by staff members. passing out medications, checking vitals, Must have active RN or LPN license in MA that's in good standing or be recent graduate of accredited program and ready to sit for the boards. Salary commensurate with experience. Sign on bonus for full time hire (32-40 hours/wk).
