We are seeking dedicated Home Care Aides (HCAs) to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. # Job Summary: As a Home Care Aide (HCA), you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, personal care, and companionship. Your compassionate approach will contribute to their overall well-being, providing essential support that allows them to remain safe and comfortable in their homes. Responsibilities: - Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life. - Assist with mobility support, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety. - Help prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary, ensuring dietary needs are met. - Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up living areas. - Monitor and report any physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in clients to supervisors. - Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities as needed. - Follow individualized care plans and maintain detailed documentation of provided services. - Administer medication reminders in accordance with care plans. - Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect both clients and caregivers. Qualifications & Requirements: - High school diploma or GED preferred. - Experience in home care, personal care assistance, or healthcare-related field is preferred but not required. - Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable. - Ability to lift or assist clients with mobility when necessary. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to follow detailed care plans and report client concerns accurately. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. - Ability to pass a criminal background check (Individuals with certain records are encouraged to apply). - Certification as a Home Care Aide (HCA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus but not required.
