Home Care Aide (HCA) Job Description
We are seeking Home Care Aides (caregivers) to become a part of our growing team! CNAs are welcome to apply as well.
You will be providing care to clients in the comfort of their homes.
Our goal is to provide quality care to seniors, seniors with disabilities, and individuals from various age groups who have a disability, while consistently maintaining four important values in mind: patience, compassion, communication, and assurance.
We focus our services to clients living in the San Diego North County region.
Available Shifts:
We offer various schedules (i.e. full-time, part-time, on-call, live-in, overnight)
PLEASE NOTE: Hours will vary based on client availability.
Responsibilities:
Duties will vary based on client needs. Duties may include, but is not limited to:
Assistance with daily living (ADL)
Companionship
Medication Reminders
Walking/Ambulation
Meal Preparation
Light Housekeeping
Errands
Assisting clients with Alzheimer’s / Dementia

Position Requirements:
- Home Care Aide Registry - (Can help with enrolling, if not currently enrolled)
- CPR and First Aid certification – must be able to obtain before providing services
- Proof of TB test - (Must have had an exam within the last two years, or take before providing care)
- CPR & First Aid Certification - (Can assist with obtaining certification; can be obtained after employment is given)
- Valid Driver’s License and valid car insurance (Home Care Aides may need to transport clients using client's vehicle or employee's personal vehicle; transportation may not apply to all clients)
- Must be able to work independently and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Experience:
Home Care Aide: 1 year minimum (preferred but not required)
