LPN – Job Description: The role of the LPN to assist with all nursing operations of the facility. Will work efficient with attention to quality standards and policies. The goal is to foster an excellent environment that will support everyone in working to the benefit of facility and residents alike. LPN - Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Maintains a high quality of service in conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures and standards of practice. -Medication Dispersal -Maintains accurate documentation as required. -Assesses and completes documentation of wounds and decubitus ulcers. -Monitoring process of treatment and reporting changes to Director of Nursing, attending Physician, and wound care nurse. -Makes rounds numerous times during shift to ensure adequate care. -Checks to see that all physician orders are carried out. Assist with Physician’s rounds. -Communicates to Nurse Leadership in unit needs any equipment, supplies, and medication necessary to maintain good patient care. -Ensures that all patient rights are maintained during care. -Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
