Multiple shifts available! We can offer part-time hours and will work with your current schedule. The primary purpose of your job is to provide primary care to specific residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians or the Medical Director of the facility, with an emphasis on assessment, illness prevention and health care management. You will also assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility. What you will do: · Provide direct resident care, treatment, and medication to our residents. · Perform an assessment evaluation and a complete in-depth physical examination using assessment techniques including observation, inspection, auscultation, percussion, and palpation. · Consult with the physician concerning resident evaluation and assist the Director of Nursing in planning and developing the nursing services · Maintain records of the nursing care given to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures. · Oversee and guide Nursing Assistants in daily responsibilities. What you’ll need to be successful in this role: · Active LPN license in the State of Washington. · Ability to prioritize tasks/responsibilities and respond to change quickly and productively. · Ability to relate effectively with residents, public, and colleagues. · CPR and Basic Life Support Certification is required.
