Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The LPN will deliver dedicated care to a client in Woodstock, GA. The ideal candidate must be punctual, reliable, and capable of managing care plans effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care and assist with medication management as needed. - Demonstrate proficiency in managing tube feedings, Foley catheters, and wound care. - Implement and follow care plans, monitor patient health, administer medications, and report any changes to the supervising Registered Nurse (RN). - Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. - Maintain accurate records of patient care, condition, progress, and any notable changes. - Educate patients and families on health management and maintenance. - Ensure a clean and safe environment for the patient. - Communicate effectively with the client, their families, and other healthcare professionals involved in the client’s care. Qualifications: - Current LPN license in the state of Georgia. - At least 3 years of practical experience as an LPN, preferably in a home care setting. - Strong knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures. - Ability to follow established health protocols and procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Compassionate with strong critical thinking and organizational skills. - Physical stamina to perform nursing duties. Physical Requirements: - Must have the strength and endurance required to lift, bend, sit, and move intermittently during working hours. - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. - Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home.
