Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (ABI Client) Location: Danbury, CT Shifts: Overnight 12-hour shifts with additional morning hours available Butler Rescue Hands, Inc. is seeking reliable and compassionate caregivers to support a male client with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) in Danbury, CT. This position includes overnight 12-hour shifts, with some morning hours available based on client needs. This role is ideal for experienced caregivers who are confident in providing hands-on care and committed to maintaining safety, dignity, and consistency. Position Details Male client with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Overnight 12-hour shifts Additional morning hours available Consistent scheduling Responsibilities Perform safe transfers using a Hoyer lift (required) Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Provide mobility assistance and repositioning Overnight supervision and safety monitoring Light housekeeping related to client care Assist with morning routines as needed Communicate effectively with family and care team Complete required documentation accurately and on time Requirements Experience working with ABI clients required Proficiency with Hoyer lift transfers required Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols Dependable, patient, and professional Must pass background check Reliable transportation Why Work With Butler Rescue Hands, Inc.
