Start Your Journey With Us: Living Branches is currently seeking Resident Assistants to join their Personal Care Services team. Under the direction of the nursing staff, the Resident Assistant will provide direct resident care duties based upon the individualized care plan/support plan of each resident, including attention to the residents' personal care (hygiene, bed changes, etc.) with an extreme display of compassion. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED - required CPR Certified Ability to follow regulatory guidelines for the department Knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations and of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care Good communication skills and ability to effectively interact with others Experience providing customer & personal services. This includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction Ability to encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, has ability to prioritize work and to address emergencies as they may occur Experience working with geriatric persons or working with dementia residents a plus Living Branches is an equal opportunity employer that employs over 700 team members and has more than 1,350 residents at three locations in Pennsylvania.
