SCOPE OF POSITION: The Registered Nurse provides care and direction to the staff to follow the resident plan of care as determined by the Unit Manager. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: -Is responsible for administering medications, treatments, and documentation in accordance with policy. -Transcribes and carries out medical orders. Follows plan of care, which is determined by the Unit Manager in conjunction with the Interdisciplinary Team. -Follows up on issues identified on previous shifts and contacts and collaborates with other departments as needed. -Assesses resident and identifies, reports and documents any change in resident status. -Communicates with Nursing Manager in a timely manner regarding significant issues: i.e., change in resident's condition, environmental, personnel or safety concerns. TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS: -State of New Hampshire Licensed Registered Nurse. -Must possess qualities of leadership and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing. -Must possess ability to work harmoniously with others and delegate authority wisely -Intermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. -Must have working knowledge or willingness to learn Electronic Medical Records systems. LUCRATIVE SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS: Fri: Earn the base hourly rate + applicable shift differentials: Hours worked between 3:00pm-11:00pm: $2.75/hour Hours worked between 11:00pm-7:00am: $3.50/hour Sat/Sun: Earn 1.5X the base hourly rate + applicable shift differentials: Hours worked between 7:00am-3:00pm: $3.00/hour Hours worked between 3:00pm-11:00pm: $7.125/hour Hours worked between 11:00pm-7:00am: $8.25/hour Equal Employment Opportunity Mandatory post offer physical and drug testing for new hire.
