Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Virginia Health Services is in search of Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team here at Lancashire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Kilmarnock, VA. These positions have a variety of openings, including every other weekend. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate the best quality of skilled care and long-term care for our residents. You will also be responsible for educating them and their families on the care they will be receiving. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and holds current Virginia license. Experience/education in Gerontological Nursing preferred. Computer knowledge preferred. Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret information. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, turn, bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, reach, talk, hear, taste and smell.
