This position will provide quality care to patients located in and around Austin Texas. This will begin as a field position with the opportunity to become an office position / Supervisor position. Summary: Primary responsibilities include administering nursing care for patients 18+ in their home. This includes but is not limited to evaluating patients, creating plans of care, admissions, case management, and follow-up skilled nursing visits. Communication is crucial as the RN needs to coordinate with physician and staff in developing treatment based on physicians orders and the initial patient assessment. This role allows for teaching and mentorship by providing clinical pathways for patients and their families as well as training opportunities with peers. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Baccalaureate School of Nursing. Licensure: Current Texas State license as a Registered Nurse. Experience: 2 years preferred in the home health field.
