Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides assessment and reassessment of clients for personal care services and supervises in-home aides and patient care; Responsible for patient care monitoring and communication with other appropriate team members and supervisor(s); Responsible for following agency policy regarding procedures or duties that a Registered Nurse may perform; Quarterly review and revision of clients’ files and review of plan of care; JOB FACTORS: Mental Requirements : Must be able to work independently, make sound judgments based on assessment and data available and act accordingly. Must be flexible, innovative and possess good interpersonal skills. Must be able to prioritize multiple functions and/or tasks. Hours : Must be able to work a flexible work schedule. TRANSPORTATION: Must have valid North Carolina Driver’s license and appropriate automobile liability insurance. Must have dependable transportation and ability to travel on the job. EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS Current NC Registered Nursing License with the NC Board of Nursing NOTE: Must also complete the Criminal Background check and not be listed on the NC Board of Nursing without a substantiated finding.
