THE CROSSINGS

"My experience with the Crossings was a little challenging in the beginning when i was around other peers as an adolescent I was admitted there twice. Mrs. Rae the director was very nice and she always had a lot of things going on for us. Some of us that chose to learn new things about life did, and it has brought out the best for a lot of us. They went by levels of the privilege that you receive but they never mistreated us. The staffs that were there at the time when I was admitted treated us with care and was understanding no matter what mood we were in. We had school, group therapy, went on outings to the water park, movies, out to eat, haunted house around Halloween, indoors and outdoors recreational activities and they even barbequed for us and took us to church. I was a patient there at the crossings, and if I could turn back the hands of times to change that I wouldn't alter a thing. God allow things to happen for a reason and he place people in your life to get his will done it slowed me down a lot. I must say this it took for God to slow me down in his own way because he always knows what was best for us. That was literally 15 years ago because in a couple of weeks I will be 30. My results... I found God I graduated from high school went got licensed to do what I love to do, I went to college and now I'm married and letting God continue to lead me. So I'm sure that if someone send their child here because of disciplinary reasons it's not a boot camp... but if your child is willing to change then don't be alarmed they're in good hands. "

"Awful my daughter has been in this facility 7months where she contracted covid 19. Mind you she was negative when she entered the institution. The director is very rude and threatened me with DHS because I wanted a negative covid test for my daughter because my household has small children and underlying illnesses. "
