I want to thank Buck Creek Nursing Home for the incredible care they gave my grandmother, Gloria McRae. The nurses were truly amazing—always loving, attentive, and gentle with her. They kept her clean, comfortable, and treated her with dignity every day. Her private room was always nice and welcoming, and she was happy during her time there. Knowing she was cared for with such kindness gave our family great peace of mind. We are so grateful for the compassion and dedication shown to her. You so much to the nurses and caretakers you guys literally Help so much in ways that we could not and I will forever. Appreciate you and remember you.

We have my mom there as a resident. She shares a room with a lovely lady who she adores. They chat and enjoy each other's company so for that I am grateful! Overall our experience with Buck Creek has been profoundly amazing! The staff are friendly and attentive, the residents are sweet too! They have lots of activities to keep them busy as well! The different areas including the rooms are clean and well kept. It doesn't smell like your typical nursing facility either! You are greeted at the secured door by front office staff that are always smiling and kind! They keep the family involved and up on all the goings on in the facility by using a huge events calendar in the lobby! My daughter and I stop to check it out when we visit. Lastly they decorate according to the holidays-seasons, so it is always bright, fun and festive! Great job y'all!

My family member was on MSU and while I was there I had the pleasure of meeting Frederica E., one time on a Sunday and the other during the week on night shift. Not only did she smell amazing her attitude and the level of care she provided was simply amazing. My aunt was there due to a fall but when I say this young lady has a caring spirit and an infectious smile I mean just that. She asked if she needed assistance eating, made sure all her personal hygiene needs were met she even brushed her hair and her teeth, changed her clothes, she was just amazing. Whatever raise y’all can give her I hope she gets the maximum. My aunt is recovering well and I am grateful that I had a positive experience with at least one person on the care team before I left.

I would not recommend this facility to a dog. Everyone smiled big but nothing was done. During my mom stay she was not provided with necessary care she needed. Her foot was not floated. In turn, she developed DTE and now has to see a wound doctor. Her staples were never removed even though it clearly stated staples would be removed at the rehab facility. I was told conflicting stories about the removal of her staples. My mom was never seen by the podiatry even though I signed her up for this optional service. The in house doctor took it upon themselves to change her prescription without discussing it with her surgeon or primary doctor. Discharge was worse. We were promised referrals for equipment we still don’t have in order to have made her transition home smoother and efficient. I would say if you are forced to utilize Buck creek, make sure you stay on top of them and be present as often as you can.

“I wouldn’t send my dog there.” Quote from a hospital nurse caring for my family member after being sent from Buck Creek’s rehab facility. There were missing meals, no regular contact, no contact with doctor or nurse practitioner, care instructions not communicated or followed through with, included once in 2+ weeks in scheduled activities, missing personal items and no regular showers. Only send family members you don’t care about to this place. If you want to get rid of them, have them fed horrible food, and maybe some intentional/unintentional torture along the way, this is the place! If only I could give negative stars.
