My mom is staying here for rehab after a long stay in the hospital and this place has been amazing. It's an older building but it's very clean and well kept. There's a large outdoor area that's comfortable and perfect for sitting outside and visiting. My mom loves the food and they have a great alternate menu if the main meal isn't to your liking. There are scheduled activities every day and there's a lot of participation from both long and short term residents. The PT seems really geared towards getting you home and making sure individual situations are taken into account. It seems to be well staffed with a good ratio of patients to staff and all of the staff that I've interacted with and seen have been exceptionally friendly and helpful, and most importantly they seem happy to be there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Arvada Care and Rehab to anyone.

Good: The Nursing Assistants are top of the line in their work. They are also compassionate. The food is good. The on-staff nurses are competent. Bad: The Doctor changes your prescriptions without telling you or anyone in your family. This caused me some health trouble. About three days a week Arvada care uses what are called Agency Nurses. A portion of these omit giving medications entirely, or omit some of the medications.

Beautiful little home! Not like some of these giant institutionalized facilities out there. Arvada is light and bright and has a cottage-like feel. They have an AMAZING therapy team. Overall it is a very nice and peaceful environment for rehab.
