THE PEARL OF ORCHARD VALLEY

This place is horrible.. they totally neglect the patients. Especially those that made need it more .. my mom is in here they completely ignore her unless they know we are going than they try to get her cleaned . Went and sat with her for a few hours not once did they come in and check on her . Her roommate was pushing the call button for herself and yelling for a nurse for about 15 mins before someone came to attend to her saying she had not gotten her morning meds yet keep in mind it is now almost 11 am and that she needed changing .. my mom is not able to walk or yell so not once meanwhile did the peak in to even check on her she could’ve been on the floor for hours and they will not even know Later my brother went and she still was not changed he had to go out a call a nurse . The nurses are just huddled around laughing on their phones .. Meanwhile there was a resident choking in the cafeteria without them knowing till someone came out to tell them Horrible horrible place do not take your loved ones

Do not i repeat DO NOT send your loved ones to this hell hole. My 90 year old father was in here for 2 weeks for rehabilitation after being in the hospital & ended up sick & passed away! The staff yell at each other & argue with patients. He was neglected & never once did anyone check on him while I was there. Was in pain all night. The last time I talked to him he told me he had stories to tell us after he got out. But that never happened. This place should be investigated!

This facility does not treat its patients well. The nurses do not take care of those living here. My loved one is being talked down on and not given the medication they need when directed. The faculty are known for ignoring the patients.

I've been in and out of this place over the years, as well as many other nursing homes in the area. I can tell you from personal experience that this place is far from the worst. Most of the staff do the best they can, but there are a few bad apples. The real problem is the corporate "management" that has allowed this place to be run into the ground, at the expense of patient care and safety. I would never step foot into this place again. At least not while it's being "managed" by Pearl Healthcare.

We have some great CNAs but there is one that stands out. Her name is Makia, she's very caring about the people she takes care of. She's a very hard worker and never complains. Besides all this she's going to college.
