BEDFORD HILLS CENTER

My mother-in-law recently spent over 2 weeks at the Bedford Hills Rehabilitation Center due to a broken femur. She had an excellent experience - the staff were attentive, personable, and responsive to her needs. They were extremely flexible with her, as she needed to leave the facility for some important family events. We were able to sign her out and return her later in the day. Also, she continually raved about how CLEAN the place is- the floors are washed daily, beds made, bathrooms clean, etc. Our family would highly recommend Bedford Hills to anyone needing good care for a loved one.

My husband has been a patient at Bedford Hills since July 3rd..I cannot express my feelings enough as how great the entire staff is. From the nurses, to the staff, the receptionist & the maintenance men are all very pleasant & willing to help at any time. I was very nervous having my husband be at a nursing home but all my worries quickly vanished. If you or your loved 1s need a nursing home I highly recommend Bedford Hills.

As a nurse, I understand nursing facilities and the day to day, recently I was on the other side of things. My husband has had a lot of medical issues and has spent the most of 4 months in acute hospitals and rehabs. His last hospitalization brought us to Bedford Hills Center. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and the management was wonderful with follow ups to questions. After a week and a half at Bedford Hills, he is finally home! I feel we both are better prepared to succeed at home, due to their care and the rehab he received there. I’d highly recommend Bedford Hills Center. Shout out to his nurses Karina and Michelle, he already misses them!

My grandmother was In Bedford Hills. I got a call in late November just as I clocked in. From my grandmothers nurse saying that she needed to be put on hospice for liver failure she’s has been dealing with for 6 months. 6months we called and visited family even went had multiple meetings with her team and nothing was mentioned about liver failure or even that there was a problem not even a letter or a email a call or a voicemail and used the excuse they couldn’t contact us when they had all updated contact information on top of us visiting and my grandmother never had any liver problems before. She passed March 30. We just wonder what help we could have gotten her if we were only told the minute they suspected anything.

I want to thank the entire staff for an amazing experience! My mother was admitted for short term rehab on June 8th as a transfer from a hospital. My mother has, among other issues, a semi advanced diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia. Upon arrival at the center we were very concerned that the accommodations that were prepared would not be appropriate to keep her safe. Discovering that the hospital did NOT give them accurate admission information, the staff jumped into action. They found a better situation and bent over backwards to make sure my mother was set up for success. The nursing staff and LNA’s are second to none. They were extremely helpful and friendly. So much so that when it was time to be discharged today, Mom didn’t want to leave! The P/T and O/T teams were so encouraging and patient with her needs and her good and bad days. They always challenged her to do her best, but made sure she always ended on a success. I’d thank everyone by name but this would be way too long as so many wonderful people touched our stay there. We will definitely be going back to visit all of Mom’s new friends who took such great care of her!
