The absolute worst place to put a loved one. They are very rude, not caring of others, and unprofessional. My grandmothers items were stole 3 different times ( during room switch ) NO REPORT WAS MADE! They denied my grandmother the right to go to the ER ( Leaving me to travel 2.5 hrs to figure out why they are denying a LUCID person the right to the hospital. I have reported them to the State as well as made numerous complaints, but nothing has been done.

My mother was at Greystone for physical therapy and while she was there she had barely even got any therapy and I had watched my mother slowly lose her mind because they didn’t give her the correct amount of insulin that she was supposed to be given because they would be giving her different large amounts she is also diabetic and they would give her a lot of sweets and I’m pretty sure that they didn’t give her the correct medication she was supposed to have and as soon as I walked in the place smelt horrible it smelt like somebody had peed themselves and they would sometimes leave her in her own poop for long periods of time there were piles of water on the floor with no caution signs the walls were not in good condition I also believe that the people there didn’t clean and I’m pretty sure that the people there were also losing there minds sometimes you could here people screaming so if you’re looking to send somebody to Greystone please don’t do it I’m begging take them elsewhere if you want them to live I saw my mother slowly lose her mind and almost die bc of it so PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE if you want your loved ones to live 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

My friend/sister came to Greystone approximately one week and 2 days ago which is 4 hrs away from Nashville where her family and friends are. She went to be weaned off the ventilator. Before she left Nashville it had taken her over a month to be able to breathe on her own for 1 hour,but all of a sudden in a weeks time they said she was breathing on her own for 4 hours which didn’t make sense to me at all. Long story short, we got the call this morning that she died in the middle of the night with no explanation. I don’t know much about this place because she was only there a week, but it doesn’t look good that all of a sudden she was breathing on her own for 4 hours and now she’s dead! Only gave 1 star because I had to in order to leave the review👎

I have tried calling 10 things since 2:00 today to check on my uncle with no answer. I tried every option on the line to get through. there are no phones in the rooms for patient to use. My brother did get throb this morning and was told they could not fo down the hall to bring him to the phone. My call was to inquire as to why they refuse to let him get out of the bed when he is capable of walking. He has ask to go to the bathroom and no one would take him then he had to lay in his own feces for 2 hours before anyone came to change him. All of this could be prevented by getting him up and doing rehab which is why he is there.

This place is a disgrace for healthcare. My mother was a patient there for a patient for approximately one year. If I could give it a minus review I would. She died due to negligence. She was nonresponsive the night before and the nurses did not contact me and I had to find out by walking in and seeing her lying there. I had to ask to have her sent out. She died 9 days later. Holston Valley Medical Center did what they could to make her as comfortable as possible but unfortunately it was too late. Do not let your loved one go to this poor excuse for a nursing home, it is anything but. I would post the pictures of what my mother looked like but I do not want her memory to be desecrated. I went to see the administrated after she had passed, he looked me in the face, told me he was a Christian and said he was going to get to the bottom of this, he did nothing! I called about a week later and left a voicemail and have not heard from him since. This tells me how caring and concerned he and this establishment is. They do not.
