I've visited a ton of nursing homes in my life, but Arbor Valley is a stand out. It's home-like, clean, and the staff are INCREDIBLE. From admission to discharge, the staff come together to make big, stressful transitions as seamless as possible. Would recommend to anyone looking for skilled, long-term or memory care!

If it weren't for Arbor Valley, my brother-in-law M.Marten wouldn't be home recovering right now. Elks Rehab didn't give much hope for him. the minute that he was admitted to Arbor Valley the Staff started working with him and didn't give up. We can't thank them enough. From Cassidy the Case manager to Ray his nurse, Brianna, CRN, Karen OT, Rich PT. They all became family We owe them so much for not saying, Mr Marten you will never make it, They could see he had potential. Our "Mr Marten" is home with my sister finishing his recovery and enjoying life progressing, NO THANKS to the Elks. Again, I wish I could give more than a 5 STARS to Arbor Valley. My sister would call me every day. They taught her the skills to take care of him at home. gave her their phone numbers in case she needed anything. Thanks guys, you truly are the best, truly are family. the only glitch: I needed to hire a contractor in Twin Falls to come widen the bathroom door to get the wheelchair in. otherwise life is wonderful and they are adapting thanks to Arbor Valley of Cascadia. Everyone at the center was so accommodating and friendly. Thanks to all that helped while he was there for an extended period. It was very enjoyable facility to sit out on the porch to enjoy the weather and watch the people.

Will give a 4 month report of my experiences when I get feeling better. I had to file complaints with the Idaho DEPARTMENT of Health and Welfare for for the aging. This chain of Rest.Homes have had a bad reputation and been under scrutiny for various infractions. The price to stay there, was $11,874.00/month.....and they just raised the price up to $405.00 above that for a private room, $35.-$45.00 for a semi-private room, effective 9/1/2025. I was discharged on 8/30/2025. "License for Larceny "

Night care with Richard (CNA) and Shadree (RN) 10/31/24, 11/1/24 was the worse ever. Withholding meds for hours, residents left to fend for themeselves as theses employees sat talking. Sadly an older resident fell. Many were left in pain. Discharge- We were told meds would be called in to our pharmacy this did not happen. When I called to get answers the calls went unanswered. I have grave concerns Richard should not "care" for anything with a heartbeat. Very dangerous. Catheter bag after asking several times to be emptied on those night shifts were ignored. Finally the bag fell causing a painful situation. Once emptied Richard got urine all over the toilet, floor and never flushed the toilet leaving room for infection and fall risk. Day help was outstanding. Ray, Ron, Annette, Emily caring, loving and helpful. Night shift wheels fell off the wagon when these two were on staff. I did take my concrens to the case manager and no resident throught the rest of our stay had these two to deal with. Care stepped up. My advise, do not leave your loved ones alone in their care during night shifts at this facility. We brought in a blowup bed.
