Me and my family just had a wonderful experience at Mark Twain. My Auntie needed rehab services and they treated her like a queen. I’m so grateful to the therapy and nursing team for taking such good care of her.

If you do bring your love ones here please do not buy new clothes for them. The clothes will come up missing or stolen from laundry. My father is missing a t-shirt and 3 sweat pants and that just what I bought recently. My family and I have bought other clothing in the past and they came up missing as well. They have no problem putting other people clothes, whether female or male on them. Not to mention they might have holes in them. Please don't lie and say my father has a closet with new clothes when he DON'T!!!! Kim. My father is missing his dinosaur blanket as well. I'm still waiting for my father's adapter to be replaced since one of the staff STOLE that too.😡 Some of the staff are lazy and don't want to do their job!!!! 😡 There is a lack of communication. On August 3, 2025 the aid came in the room and brought my father his food tray and noticed he was unresponsive. She did nothing. When my brother got there she made a smart comment to him about my father being unresponsive and see if he could get my father to eat. My father was still unresponsive when my brother went back to nurses desk for assistance. It was too late!! My father was already in cardiac arrest. He couldn't be revived. I wish I could have been there to ask for an autopsy to be done to find out when exactly my father heart stopped!! I hate Mark Twain Manor!!!!IF YOU LOVE AND CARE FOR YOUR LOVE ONE AND YOU WANT THEM TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY, DO NOT SEND THEM TO MARK TWAIN MANOR!!!!

When I came to Mark Twain from hospital I was use to the hospital checking on me. I talked with therapist and a meeting was set up to take care of issues. It got better but could've been more. Therapy was great. I immediately started getting better. The staff was great and very encouraging.

My Mom was here for 30 days and they took really good care of her. The staff was was very kind and attentive, but it also takes assertive efforts from the family to be involved with the care as well. We were there everyday to make sure my Mom was taken care and that duties were done. I would use this facility again
