My uncle needed rehab after a fall. The staff was very kind, helpful and understanding. The therapy department is very good in assisting a resident with their specific needs. The staff kept me well informed on his progress and what further goals he needed to achieve. The activities staff were always asking to take him to activities and each day had some different activity. There were no complaints from my uncle about the food, he enjoyed his meals. Overall a very satisfying experience.

One star just to be able to leave a review. Do NOT send your loved ones to this horrible place. I watched an aid drop off a meal to my friend who has one usable hand and not even offer to cut up his food for him or help him eat. Four minutes later another aid walks in to ask him if he's done with his meal to take his plate away. If I were not there his food would not have even been cut, he would not have had help to eat, and his meal would have been taken away. There was no working AC in his room and it was over 90 on Sunday. The hallway on the way to his room was disgusting, dirty towel on the floor in the hallway in front of someone else's doorway, and some of the aids have zero bedside manner and have no business being in hospice care or healthcare when your DUTY is to be nurturing and care for these people in their last moments. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this hell hole. Will be making a formal complaint to management.

This place is horrible especially the staff, it’s not clean at all. They hardly feed the patients or get them up for care, they don’t wash the patients up and leave them in their beds all day soiled. They fed them kids size meals and let them stay hungry and thirsty throughout the day. When you try and stand up for yourself and tell them what problems your having they curse and punish you by not feeding you or getting you out of your bed or have any care come in to see about you. The staff is incompetent and dress horrible their presentation and performance speaks volumes in horrible ways. The picture that’s on the website is not the facility it’s false advertisement. This place puts you in the mind of an old dirty motel. They also don’t have a kitchen setting as stated on the website for occupational therapy. It has a very disturbing smell and overall presence. If you care anything about your love one please do not place them in this place and for those who left their love ones at this facility, may God seek mercy on you because you know better.

The Heights Rehabilitation Center
I first learned about The Heights Rehabilitation Center back in 2018, and I can honestly say it has transformed my perspective on care facilities. Initially, I was hesitant to consider any nursing home for my daughter, even for a short stay. However, my experience at The Heights has completely changed my mindset.
From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the staff at The Heights genuinely cares about the well-being of their residents. Over the past six years, I have watched my daughter thrive in an environment that has been supportive, nurturing, and attentive to her needs. The staff members are not only skilled but also compassionate, making it clear that they prioritize the health and happiness of each resident.
While no facility is perfect, and I can certainly point out a few minor discrepancies here and there, I firmly believe the positives far outweigh any negatives. The commitment to quality care and the warm atmosphere they foster truly set The Heights apart from other facilities.
In fact, I took my daughter to another place once, and it was such a stark contrast that she never wanted to return. The Heights, located in Broadview Heights, stands out as a beacon of excellence in rehabilitation and care.
If you are looking for a place where you can leave your loved ones in good hands, whether for daily care or during a short trip, I wholeheartedly recommend The Heights Rehabilitation Center. It has made a significant difference in my daughter's life and has given me peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and caring hands.

The Heights has a hard working, attentive, friendly staff. All employees, whether they are therapists, nurses, aides, housekeepers, food service workers or admin people, are impressive. We could not have asked for a better place and care for our mom.
Our mom had another fall late October 2024 and subsequent surgery. Again we decided to rely on The Heights for her care. The stay this time was five weeks. We are so grateful (again) to the entire staff for taking care of our mom. The nurses, aides, housekeepers, kitchen and admin staff treated her with respect and kindness. We especially would like to mention the OT and PT staff and their amazing dedicated work! Also Heidi in Social Services is one of a kind - the very best!!! The Petras family thanks all of you!!!
Our mom had another knee problem that again caused her to need rehab on June 12, 2025. She was unable to walk or do any daily activities on her own. Without hesitation, we called Anna at The Heights. As always, she was welcoming and helpful. This is our third time our mom has needed The Heights. We totally trust the staff and know our mom is getting the best care possible. We have highly recommended The Heights to several of our friends. As always, the Petras family is grateful and thankful for all you do!!!
