My mother stayed there for about 5 weeks recovering from a hospital stay and it really helped her out. Food was good and the room was very nice. Staff is super nice, well educated in the field and did a great job having to deal with my mother and her issues. Physical therapy worked with her while she was there and when she wanted to be helped it was a valuable part of her stay. Highly recommended.

Shannon, the Director of Activities goes above and beyond! She recently hosted a Trick or Treat event – both my Dad who resides there and my kids had so much fun! They were able to trick or treat with my Dad as well as bop up and down the hallways to other residents. She puts so much heart into planning activities that everyone can enjoy and it shows in the happiness of the residents. Her kindness, creativity and dedication brings a smile to everyone’s face. You can see that she is meant for her job. My Dad isn’t one for group activities but she always tries to get him to participate or brings him goodies from the event. They have their own inside jokes and we are so grateful for her! Both the activity calendar and activity room are always full and its nice to see so much joy brought to the participants.

My mom came here from the hospital last month in August and was here for 2 weeks. Admin staff was very nice. But the care was not good at all. When leaving one of the residents fell outside off of one of their chairs. I had to run to get some one to call 911. My mom went from walking to a wheel chair and fell down here after 2 days of being here. I told them she was a fall risk to begin with. I had to get my mom out of here and moved her to another facility and when they found out she was leaving, they put a pair of poop encrusted shirts in her clothing bag. I would not send my family member here!!!

We have had great care for my sister at Liberty Commons. The nurses, the wound care nurse and the would care doctor have been great trying to keep her wounds cleaned and trying to keep them from infections. They change the bandages every day. She had been in so much pain and they are giving her as much as they can for the pain. They meet with me and let me know what is going on her if anything new comes up. Sometimes on weekends they may be a little short with nurses assistance but that is everywhere. I can’t say enough how they have kept me informed about her condition. I can tell tell you first hand they have been great to work with. If you are looking for a place, I would try Liberty Commons first. Cornelia Burch

My husband spent three weeks at Liberty Commons for rehab after a hip fracture. The staff from top to bottom was excellent. I will forever be grateful to Dee Ann Owens for her professionalism, kindness, and support. I consider her family. I also want to thank Glenda and Angie in occupational therapy and Lindsey In physical therapy for their dedication to improving my husband‘s mobility. And then there are the wonderful nurses…Alene, Chrystle, Angela, Anna and Joni. Each was wonderfully kind and generous during a very difficult time for our family. Also want to thank Ashley, Sabrina and Selita. This team of healthcare professionals are the very best at what they do!
