SUNNYVIEW NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER

My uncle resides at Sunnyview and has for over 5 years as he was no longer able to care for himself at home. The staff have been amazing and continue to treat him as if he is a member of their family. He has dementia and sometimes requires extra attention when it comes to reminders about his daily routine. The nursing staff always finds time to provide this care and our family is appreciative because Joe truly feels like he is at home in this environment. Shout out to activities for always engaging him in leisure tasks whether it is live music, crafts, games or just bringing a snack around for some 1:1 conversation. He may not remember names and short term memory continues to decline, but he is clear to us when he calls and when we visit, that he feels safe, content and loved as a resident of Sunnyview. He is thriving in this long term environment and for this we are appreciative!

Recommend Sunnyview for rehab or long term care. Have had family members in both areas and have been pleased with the care each time. Staff are caring, compassionate and truly work hard. Any questions or concerns were always answered or addressed in a timely manner in all departments including nursing, therapy, maintenance, activities and dietary. Would recommend Sunnyview for short term and long term care needs.

Family member stayed at this facility for skilled therapy after a hip fracture. Room was clean, rehab staff pleasant and professional. Plan of care and discharge plans clearly communicated. Overall pleased with the care she received.

Excellent care, compassionate staff. Have had multiple family members on rehab unit over the years and a family member currently in long term. Appreciate staff communication, timely maintenance response and activities efforts to keep patients engaged.
