Farrah in SW is wonderful to work. She truly cares about her work and her patients, and it shows. Everyone at this facility is always very kind and ready to assist. I see the residents going down the halls with big smiles on the faces! Very nice to see!

The veiews is breath taken from my mother window. The home very pleasant and venturioue to look at. The resident looks well groomed and friendly. The staff team pleasant, and willingly to to help in a time of need and didn't matter if my mother Mary Hampton were assigned to them or not . Her Doctor and her aide popped in to see if they needed for anything and check on my mother or tell us how her day was , meds she is taking , food she loves to eat and do on . That's very important to the family to know that when we go home we can have a peace of mind because of the Shenandoah Center is the best place for our mother . Thanks again 🙏

My mother has been in Shenandoah Center for over a year. She initially went in for rehab following a fall that required surgery for a brain bleed. She had been living with my husband and I, and I’d been her caregiver for years. It was so hard to leave her in a new place, but the staff went out of their way to make mother and me feel comfortable. From the therapy department, nursing staff, activities staff..all were wonderful! We had to make the hard decision to transition her to skilled nursing care there and not bring her back home. As hard as this time with the quarantine has been, I’m so thankful she’s been at Shenandoah. The administration and all the staff have been wonderful to go out of their way to keep the residents engaged and the families informed. My mother has dementia, so it’s not easy for them, but they have been so loving and understanding with mother. I’ve had peace of mind knowing she’s loved and well cared for there.

Oh my goodness it has taken me a minute to write this review. I could not believe my eyes when I was rolled into this center. Believe me I have been in several nursing and rehab centers, but none like this. ShenandoahCenter and Rehabilitation made me feel right at home. The staff, ranging from housekeepers and management is nothing I had seen. They all share the duties in making you comfortable. They all help clean, bring you food and even change your bed. You really don't know who's who. I was told by administration that they all help each other out, because their residents happiness and safety comes first. They all work hard to keep Shenandoah above and beyond a FIVE Star. If I need this center again, I pray there's a bed available(2024). Well guys I needed them again and I am here. Thank you God that they had a bed. I arrived today 1/22/2025. I have had my left leg amputated and needed rehab. I was asked where I wanted to go and without hesitation I said Shenandoah ; pls God let them have a bed. Nothing has changed they welcomed me with open arms I'm supposed to be here for twenty days and I will let you know how it goes. Well guys I'm at the point where I am ready to go home. They have a staffing problem(not enough). My expectation has gone down hill fast. Now don't get me wrong, the ones that are here are busting their behinds to do their job and others. Now the food has seriously been the worst I have had. There are some exceptions, which are the sub sandwiches they do. I have had to order out or have my husband bring me food. I hate to say you have gone from a five to a three point five. But I will say there is no other home I would rather be at than this one; Shenandoah Nursing Home. They may be short of staff but they are not short of caring.

My mother has been here for 4 years now. Some of the staff has changed but some remain. These people care about my mother and take good care of her. The social worker, Keli is always available if I need to speak to her and refers me to the proper person if needed. They keep her clean, comfortable and well fed. I am always informed of even the smallest of needs, or changes she requires. Always pleasant and loving to the residents needs and family as well. Thank you for the love you give.
